Before achieving success on her current syndicated Talk Show, Ellen paved the way as a stand-up comedian - gaining a life-changing credit performing on Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show", resulting in her TV series "Ellen" (from 1994-1998). Ellen's stand-up comedy routines put her legacy onto the charts and into the limelight.
