Six Feet Under: The Complete First Season is an HBO drama Series that tells a story of a dysfunctional family that runs a funeral home called "Fisher and Sons" in California. The queer angle to this TV Series is that one of the main characters, David Fisher [Michael C. Hall from "Dexter"] is gay.

Six Feet Under: The First Season opens with a bang, The father and owner of this funeral home is crushed by a bus in the pilot's opening scene. In his will, he leaves the funeral home to his two sons: David [Michael C. Hall] who is the current manager and Nate Jr. [Peter Krause] a thirtysomething slacker who left town years ago.

David has a good looking police officer boyfriend, Keith [Mathew St. Patrick] but struggles continually with his homosexuality that goes against his family tradition faith in Christianity.

Ruth [Frances Conroy] is David and Nate's mother. She is torn between missing her husband and thinking of her torrod affair with another man. Her daugher, Claire [Lauren Ambrose] is the youngest of the Fisher family who hates school and loves to experiement with drugs.

Nate ran away from the Fisher and Sons Funeral responsibilities but he's back now and ready to deal with his inheritance while dealing with a complicated relationship with Brenda [Rachel Griffiths] a massage therapist whose photographer brother, Billy [Jeremy Sisto] is a little strange.

Federico [Freddy Rodriguez] shines as their faithful employee of Fisher and Sons as their "restorative artist".

Six Feet Under: The Complete First Season takes us on a journey we never would of thought to imagine, making this a household saga to watch from beginning to end as David and his boyfriend, Keith's relationship develops.
