• Cascara Sagrada is a herbal laxative, used primarily for relief from constipation.
• Cascara Sagrada assists and supports a clean, healthy colon by stimulating the lining of the upper intestines to promote normal bowel function.
• Occasional constipation occurs when bowel movements become difficult or less frequent.
• This is usually caused by inadequate water intake, a disruption of regular diet or routine, inadequate fiber in the diet, traveling, inadequate activity, stress, narcotics or regular antacid medicines containing calcium or aluminum.
