Shaun Proulx hosted The Gay Wedding Show 2011, downtown Toronto. In the Toronto Star, Shaun was interviewed about his wedding experiences. To keep it light, when introducing the couple, their planner would say "This is Shaun. He's the bride". Shaun explained that "It was just our shtick, gay camp. I'm 6-foot-4 - no blushing bride."

Shaun Proulx hosts The Shaun Proulx Show on OUTtv, the Canadian LGTB TV Network. The Shaun Proulx Show interviews queer and straight guests from Adam Lambert, Buck Angel, Betty White and MarcScottEmery among others.

Shaun Proulx is an advocate for Stop The Bulling Now campaign with a couple of other well know queer advocates, Buck Angel, Kate Bornstein, Jessica Halem and Ivan Coyote. Shaun Proulx kicked off Toronto Pride 2010 30th Anniversary Party Pride Week @ the Flag Raising downtown Toronto @ City Hall. The official Media VIP Launch Party, downtown Toronto. Deb Pearce was Master of Ceremonies with Shaun Proulx as the guest speaker. Shaun also spoke @ The Proud Voices Event.
